GT: You juggle projects on a regular basis. What is your
secret to successfully balancing multiple projects? MT: I’m
insane! *chuckles* Seriously though, I’ve never been one to sit idly
by. I’m an “A” type personality, and I like to get things accomplished.
If I have a plan or idea I work on it until it’s done. When you’re
doing what you love it’s amazing how focused you can be. It’s not easy
but it’s worth it.
GT: What keeps you motivated? MT: Following my
dreams. That feeling when you step on a stage and the audience is with
you makes the work, the stress and all of it worthwhile. It’s like a
high that no drug could ever compare to. Making people laugh and
bringing them joy through my craft is pure magic to me.
GT: As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up? MT:
Ever since I was a little boy I have always wanted to be a
GT: What about Seattle is special for you? MT:
Seattle is a unique place, and I wouldn’t be who I am today without the
amazing community that this city has. It’s held me for almost 20 years.
Now my dream and career have taken me to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
Seattle will always have a special place in my heart.
GT: What makes you unique? MT: I don’t listen to
what others think I should be. I stay true to my integrity and follow
my heart. That’s the beauty of living your truth, no one will ever do
it like you,m so stay true to yourself and you can’t go wrong!
GT: What is on the horizon for Mama Tits? New projects in
the future? MT: I recently sold Mimosas Cabaret and moved to
Mexico. I didn’t want to see it go away, the girls in the show work so
hard and deserve to have a place to shine. I’m so happy to know it’s
continuing and thriving. As for me, the husband and I along with our
dog are embarking on our next chapter. We have moved to Puerto Vallarta
Mexico where I headline a cabaret with my solo show 7 months out of the
year. Beyond that, I just plan to keep staying to true to myself and
following my dreams, Wherever they may lead. It’s been a hell of a ride
so far, I can only imagine what heights we’ll reach next. I just keep
dreaming and working.
